Taking inspiration from the hand-painted film posters and banners from Africa and India, this is an extensive series of over-painted works on ‘found’ mid-20th century vintage posters from Macmillan Educational.

Using film titles from 1950s, the words and phrases take on a curious alternative or parallel version of the cinematic release.
